Effective plays key role in major new Welsh publication

Informed, an exciting new independent publication facilitated by Chambers Wales, has been launched to much fanfare – and Effective is delighted to have played a key role in making it happen.

A journal for business by business, Informed focuses on practical guidance and solutions as firms look to rebuild and grow after the events of the past year.

Informed is chaired by an independent editor, our very own founder and MD Alastair Milburn, who has used his previous experience as the award-winning editor of the biggest selling newspaper in Wales, the South Wales Echo, to help solidify Informed as a top publication in Wales.

His reputation for stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and crisis communications, and his vast experience of working closely with director level teams for high-profile organisations (including Chambers Wales since 2017) made it an easy appointment.

The wider team here at Effective have all supported the production of the first edition by creating content, proofreading copy, and helping make creative decisions.

Being a Corporate Partner of Chambers Wales, we’re part of an exclusive group that shares a special relationship with the Chamber by collaborating closely to provide resources to the Welsh business community and support economic growth. Informed is a great example of such work, as our two teams have worked together to produce the publication from the original conception.

Created in an online only format, the first edition includes 36-pages of ‘news you can use’ including expert analysis surrounding government briefings, industry insights and topical and trending pieces about the business communities in Wales. Not limited to business, it also includes lifestyle reviews of restaurants, cars and trends from around Wales.

The quarterly publication will be relevant to businesses of all sizes and sectors across the country, with a circulation of more than 21,300 people. It allows readers to understand the wider issues in businesswritten from an informative perspective, rather than a news or drama viewpoint

You can read the first edition here.
