The background:

We have been working with Towergate Insurance Brokers for over two years, when they approached us to find out if we could help with their digital presence to reach their business customers. As they provide a personal service, we felt the best way for them to do this was by engaging with their Linkedin networks to reach people. However, we were mindful that they are a professional services business that operates in the financial services industry, so we had to create a bespoke training session for their teams.

The training

Effective provided half a day’s training on Linkedin, specifically designed for the senior management team in Wales on how to improve their profiles, and how to reach and engage with their stakeholders. The training session was then adapted for a sales team in the South West, which was delivered in the format of a webinar. It was also rolled out nationally as a webinar, which we delivered to more than 150 people online. Each session brought them up to the speed on the very latest features, tools and trends of Linkedin. We also guided them through the waters of the financial service industry in terms of what they should and shouldn’t post.
