BBI Solutions – The Best of BBI

The challenge:

BBI Solutions is a leading expert in immunoassay development and manufacturing services, providing an extensive portfolio of products and technologies to the global diagnostics market. Headquartered in Crumlin, BBI Solutions has seven manufacturing sites across four continents.

Since April 2020, BBI Solutions has played an instrumental role in developing Covid-19 lateral flow rapid tests. BBI has also used its manufacturing capabilities and mobile health expertise to assist with the development of other tests.

Positioned strongly as a complete solution provider with a full reagent portfolio and services, BBI Solutions wanted to promote its global capabilities to existing customers and suppliers.

The campaign:

BBI Solutions had created a video to showcase its entire global services portfolio, and wanted to launch a new, revised website to coincide with its launch.

Effective worked closely with BBI Solutions on the website copy, carefully and thoroughly proofreading and suggesting amendments page by page for grammar, punctuation and flow.

We also carried out an extensive competitor analysis, identifying areas where BBI’s full and complete service could benefit against competitors who are focused on one area or niche services. From this, we created a holistic PR and marketing activity plan to effectively communicate BBI’s product offering to segmented audiences.

Having worked with BBI Solutions since March 2020, we already had an excellent understanding of the company’s key markets and had a substantial trade, regional and national business media list which helped when identifying the main regional targets for press releases. We issued multiple press releases to these contacts, along with creating and distributing e-shots featuring the video and service offerings.

We also completed a social media advertising campaign, wrote case studies and identified trade speaking opportunities for key personnel, all to position BBI as the market leader over its competitors.

The outcome:

The campaign positioned BBI Solutions as a centre of both research and development excellence, consolidating its position as a leading supplier of immunodiagnostic materials and global manufacturer.
