Developed by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed Powys, the Help Hub is an online, phone and email portal for people across Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Powys to find services that can advise and guide locally after a crime or anti-social behaviour incident.
The Dyfed-Powys Police & Crime Commissioner’s Office sought Effective to devise and deliver an innovative, exciting and effective six-month marketing campaign to raise awareness of the Help Hub.
The complete target audience was the 500,000 people across the vast Dyfed Powys area with a focus on existing and potential victims of crime.
Together with Burning Red, Effective organised and ran a creative campaign involving ‘EVERYDAY SUPERHEROES’ from the Dyfed Powys area. The ‘heroes’ were the people on the front line of victim support, those who would be at the end of the phone, responding to sensitive emails and generally offering advice and support to those in need. We liaised with key workers and arranged the superhero photocalls which produced our iconic images used throughout the campaign.
We drafted and issued regionalised press releases and individual case studies for each of the target areas and secured radio interviews for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed Powys.
Effective also devised a targeted social media campaign to engage with the target audience.
The campaign reached more than half a million people in our key areas across online, print and broadcast media.
